Anna & Matt's Jewish Wedding at Elmore Court

Nothing excites me more than couples that really pull out the stops and stamp their personalities all over their big day. Totally owning it and including everything they love and hold dear to their hearts to make it a truly monumental occasion, so I was over the moon to be back at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire for Anna & Matt’s big ol Jewish wedding and these two had the best day planned out that you could have wished for.

Whilst Matt was at his Tisch with the male guests and Rabbi, Anna was upstairs in the loveliest of bridal suites having her hair and makeup done by twinsie and Australian based make up artist Lucy. Their ceremony was packed full of great cultural tradition under the Cuppah which was beautiful, moving and so very heartfelt. Their entrance to the reception was through an arch that the schtick girls had made before going into a very energetic Hora where the happy couple were hoisted up on chairs and bounced around the dance floor. After this very grand and exciting entrance everyone took their seats for the wedding breakfast.

In between courses of the best Kosher food I have ever tasted there was more dancing which went on late into the evening. In between partying the three of us headed out around the house and grounds of Elmore Court to capture some lovely artsy photos in the orchard and meadow.

Anna & Matt’s Jewish wedding was something else. I am in love with photographing weddings and above all capturing moments between couples madly in love and clearly enjoying one of the biggest days of their lives.

If you are planning your own wedding in the Cotswolds or at Elmore Court and looking for a fresh photojournalistic approach, something that really captures real moments and will tell your own story in an honest candid way, feel free to get in touch.
